Austrian Security Forum Social Engineering Keynote from First Defence

2 April 2014

Social engineering is already big news in 2014, from valuable Twitter names being stolen to using social engineering to help to get free air travel.

What's going to be next on the social engineering agenda? What are the emerging trends and what social engineering techniques might we expect to see in the future?

Come along to see our keynote presentation at the 2014 Security Forum in Hagenberg im Mühlkreis. In this talk, we will give an overview of the types of social engineering attacks people have used throughout the ages, from tricks used by the classic conmen of the past to the phishing attacks that are at an all time high, and the proliferation of social networking and how useful this is to social engineers. There will be plenty of war stories.
